About Barnard Manufacturing

Barnard Manufacturing Co., Inc. (BMCI) was established in 1966 as a Quality-Oriented production machine shop. We relocated in 1995 into our new 55,000 square foot manufacturing facility in St. Johns, Michigan, just minutes north of the state capital in Lansing. This provided BMCI with convenient access to major interstate highway systems, further enhancing our ability to serve our customers’ special transportation needs.

Major markets served include: Heavy Construction Equipment, Heavy Truck, Hydraulics, Railroad, Mining and Forestry. BMCI produces a wide array of machined components and assemblies derived from forgings, castings, weldments, tubing and bar stock in a variety of material compositions.

BMCI is actively pursuing and totally committed to attainment of “Certification” to ISO-9000 Quality Assurance Systems. We believe the dynamics of this effort will allow us to reach and maintain the highest level of process and quality excellence through continuous improvement.
